Geetha works part-time for a corporation and enjoys spending time with her sister vyjayanthi and her kids. lawyer by profession vyjayanthi leaves her kids with geetha when she must travel to delhi for work. The children mysteriously vanish as geetha goes for a parent-teacher conference at their school. With each call, the kidnappers' demands only get more onerous. Who's in charge of this? What lengths will geetha go to in order to save them? Is Geetha's life also in danger?

Beyond the bare minimum of thrills, urgency, and narrative suspense, the thriller genre has a lot more to offer the audience. When done correctly, thrillers give you a frank portrayal of the world, our interpersonal interactions, and our psychological makeup. Butterfly is a great example of a thriller that goes above and beyond to keep us interested and paints a sombre picture of the world around us. The story has a greater impact when seen through the eyes of a woman.

The start of Butterfly is a little slow; the director isn't just after tension. By buying some time, Ghanta Satish Babu can create a world for Geetha, her sister Vyjayanthi, and the conflict. The main focus of the movie is Geetha's (rather lonesome) struggle to save her niece and nephew. As she pursues her goal, the filmmaker switches back and forth between her past and present, piecing together various aspects of her existence. Despite the simple configuration, Butterfly performs well.

Beyond the kidnapping of the children, the director wants us to think that the movie is about a woman's lone struggle in the world. While geetha is the focus of the narrative, it also explores the relationship between the two sisters and how geetha takes courage from her sister. Being adopted themselves, geetha and vyjayanthi go through a lot to earn respect in society and are introduced as strong, resolute ladies who can handle any issue.

Butterfly has it all: a fantastic premise, engaging storytelling, and strong acting. Although Anupama Parameswaran's potential had always been clear, she deserved a movie like Butterfly that is entirely dependent on her. Anupama gets her teeth into a well-written character as a lady who is mainly resilient and only somewhat vulnerable. While A-listers like rao ramesh and bhumika chawla perform to expectations, nihal Kodhaty fills in with a solid performance in a meaty role.

Anupama Parameswaran leads the emotive, compelling thriller Butterfly, which also features nihal Kodhaty, Racha Ravi, bhumika chawla, Rao Ramesh, and an excellent technical team. Ghanta Satish Babu makes a confident directorial debut. It's worth your time to see this caterpillar grow into a butterfly.
