The crossover between actors and directors is occurring in several film industries as a result of the success of numerous pan-Indian films. Working with a particular actor or director is no longer complicated by a language barrier. Films starring tamil actors like Vijay and dhanush have been produced by telugu directors like Vamshi Paidipally and venky Atluri. Similar to this, kannada film directors are now emphasizing telugu heroes.

Prashanth Neel's name will come to mind whenever we think of kannada cinema. Such is the lasting impression his successful kannada film franchise, KGF, left on us. Following the success of KGF, Neel collaborated on Salaar with telugu actor Prabhas. He will be working with jr ntr on a high-profile action project after Salaar is finished. After finishing his current film with koratala siva, ntr will work on this project.

Another kannada director making his tollywood debut is A. Harsha. Recent success for Harsha came through shiva Rajkumar's Veda. He is now working on an action drama with Gopichand. This week's movie premiered earlier. The project is being funded by kk Radhamohan under the auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Art Productions.

With the kannada hit Mufti, director Narthan gained notoriety. Together with shiva Rajkumar, he recently produced Bhairathi Ranagal. It will shortly appear on screens. Recently, however, it has come to light that he would work on ram Charan's upcoming film. When the rrr star has finished his projects with shankar and Buchi Babu Sana, he will start working on Narthan's movie. It will be interesting to observe how telugu viewers react to these kannada directors.
