The telangana election was finished the other day. Almost all exit polls indicated congress will take power easily or as the single largest party (in a few Exit Polls). Axis My India, which is recognized for being quite reliable in such polls, withheld its Exit Poll results, claiming that it needs more time to evaluate the data because voting continued till late at night with people in lineups.

BRS cadres, leaders, and fans hoped for a miracle in this Exit Poll to resurrect their dreams. Axis My India, on the other hand, forecast a comfortable position for Congress. The Exit Poll gives the congress 68 seats, the BRS 39, and the bjp and mim six apiece. Sixty-eight indicates that the magic number (59) is readily broken. Even with mim or bjp backing, the seats will be less than the Congress. As a result, the Grand Old party will be rather pleasant. Only the hyderabad region favors BRS, while the Central telangana and South telangana regions favor Congress.

In terms of vote share, BRS lost 10% of its vote share in the 2018 elections and is now at 36%, while congress is at 42%, up by 10%. This agency predicts an easy victory for congress, and from here, BRS can only pray for a miracle, which all survey agencies predict will occur. Let us wait until december 3rd for the actual figures!
