In 33 district centers in Chhattisgarh, the preparations for the counting process have been finished. The present trends show that the congress is leading in 41 seats, the bjp is leading in 47 seats, and other parties are leading in one seat. There are 90 assembly seats in all, and 46 seats are needed for the magic number to be reached. With 1,181 candidates from around the state, the bjp and congress are engaged in a tough race.
