On Sunday, january 7, the All india congress Committee (AICC) nominated Telangana's parliament constituency coordinators in preparation for the lok sabha election. congress president mallikarjun Kharge endorsed the list, which is part of the party's strategy plan for successful campaigning and cooperation in crucial seats.

Last week, congress divided states and union territories into five groupings. Karnataka, along with telangana, Kerala, tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry, formed five screening committees to propose party candidates for the lok sabha elections.

"Besides, congress president mallikarjun Kharge has approved the proposal of the constitution of Pradesh election Committees of Rajasthan, Kerala, telangana, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura, and Pradesh election Committee and Political Affairs Committee of Madhya Pradesh, with immediate effect," according to a press release issued by the party.
