Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi party, accompanied rahul gandhi on sunday in agra, Uttar Pradesh, for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. This occurred just a few days after the Samajwadi party and the congress reached a consensus about the seat-sharing negotiations for Uttar Pradesh.

Akhilesh Yadav has been refusing to take part in the yatra for days, saying that he would only do so if the seat-sharing agreement with congress was completed. "Today is a very happy day," said congress national secretary priyanka gandhi as she greeted the head of the Samajwadi party to the yatra on Sunday.

As rahul gandhi and akhilesh yadav joined forces to show a single front, the three-spoke to the throng in Agra.

"The biggest challenge in the coming days is to save democracy and the Constitution, to fulfil the dreams of Dr. BR Ambedkar, which have been ruined by the BJP," stated Akhilesh Yadav. 'BJP haatao, desh ko bachao, sankat mitao' (Remove BJP, preserve the nation, and end the crisis) is the sole message that has to be sent now."

In the upcoming days, he hopes to overthrow the BJP-led nda with the help of the PDA (pichre, Dalit, and alpashankhak) and the india bloc.

Akhilesh Yadav, the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, joined the Bharat Jodo Nyay yatra in agra under the leadership of rahul gandhi, only days after the congress and Samajwadi party concluded their agreement on seat distribution for the next lok sabha elections.
