The bharatiya janata party (BJP) is gearing up for the upcoming parliamentary elections, with hopes of securing a third consecutive term in power at the Centre. The party is setting an ambitious target of winning 300 seats on its own, with a broader goal of achieving 400 seats together with the national democratic alliance (NDA) alliance.

In the process of candidate selection, the party leadership is reportedly considering fielding bollywood star akshay kumar and leading actress kangana Ranaut. The names of these two celebrities are expected to be included in the first list of bjp candidates for the parliamentary elections, which may be released in the coming days.


Kangana Ranaut, known for her roles in lady-oriented films, has previously expressed interest in joining politics and has been associated with the BJP. Her home state is Himachal Pradesh, and there are speculations that she might contest from Mandi. akshay kumar, a popular actor known for his support of the bjp government, is rumored to be considered for the chandni Chowk constituency in Delhi.


The bjp has a history of fielding actors in elections, with personalities like ravi Kishan, Sunny Deol, and hema malini having contested and won seats in previous elections. The addition of kangana ranaut and akshay kumar is expected to bring glamour to the party's election campaign.
