AIMIM leader and current hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's "larger than life image" doesn't bother 49-year-old K madhavi Latha, the BJP's rookie candidate. She says all he has provided the constituency is suffering, terror, and injustice. In the general elections scheduled for May 13, Latha, a 49-year-old entrepreneur and classical dancer, will challenge Owaisi in his home territory.
 
Even though the AIMIM chairman has been serving the seat since 2004, she criticized him in an interview with PTI for the supposed lack of progress in the area.
 
The fierce bjp critic's legendary reputation in the constituency doesn't bother her.

When asked how she handles her primary opponent Owaisi given that she is a newcomer to politics, she retaliated by questioning what type of reputation Owaisi has.
 
"You mention an over-the-top picture. What sort of image is important? All it takes to break a larger-than-life negative picture is a single rock. What energy would you need, for instance, to construct a cascade out of playing cards, she questioned.
 
She said at the hyderabad lok sabha segment, "But for plain agony, backwardness, injustice, fear and insecurity, he has not given anything."
 
She stated that it is crucial to show the voters the truth in the constituency, even though they are aware of it, and to explain to them how she would defend their rights "regardless of the fear factor that he has spread around."
 
When Congressmen attempted to campaign in the Old City during previous elections, "he stopped them." She said that Congress, the same folks, is now buddies with him. The bjp candidate said that she won't be intimidated by any scare tactics.
 
Voters are promised development in the form of highways, flyovers, metro rail, organized residential neighborhoods, schools, and facilities for sports and health.

Her mission also includes promoting the commerce of pearls and lac bangles, which are well-known in the region, as well as IT enterprises.
 
"How can I confront the 'pasmandas,' or regressive Muslims, there? How can I confront those Hindus who are afraid there?" she said.
 
She said that no progress had been made in the constituency.
 
She questioned, "Is this Hyderabad?" while displaying some images of trash heaped up on a roadside.
 
Despite Hyderabad's reputation as an IT powerhouse, the state capital's hyderabad lok sabha seat has not seen a growth in the IT industry, the speaker remarked.
 
"You refer to the lok sabha in hyderabad as hyderabad, yet not a single IT business would be present there? Is that how things are evolving? She said, "Tell me about one sports complex there."
 
She asserted that despite the presence of ancient temples and historical sites, just 5% of visitors spend money in hyderabad, the city where IT workers are supposed to spend Rs 10,000 crore every month.

When asked what plans she had for the development of the hyderabad lok sabha seat, she said that the first thing that has to be done is to remove illiteracy, citing the fact that it is very widespread.
