A complaint has been opened by the mancherial district police against the principal and school correspondent for reportedly objecting to certain kids arriving at the school wearing the "Hanuman Deeksha dress" in Kannepalli village, which is around 250 km away. Dandepally police said that a case under sections 153 (A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion or race) and 295 (A) (insulting the religious sensibilities) was booked against the school administrators on Tuesday. This was based on a complaint filed by the parents of the kids.

The administration of Blessed mother teresa High school informed PTI on wednesday that the pupils were requested to bring their parents two days earlier by the principal, who had seen that they were dressed in saffron rather than a uniform. Later, as shown in a video provided by the school reporter, some irate demonstrators allegedly vandalized the school windows on Tuesday, and a group of individuals sought an apology from the school administration. According to him, the demonstrators also asked the journalist to apologize.

The tweet read, "Chanting jai Sri ram slogans Sangh activists attack Catholic school in mancherial, Telengana. Principal father Jaimon Joseph from kerala was beaten up and tilak applied on his forehead. Mother Theresa statue vandalized. The school principal found 4 students attending classes wearing religious dress and asked why they were not wearing uniform. Later one student uploaded a video accusing  the principal of refusing to allow students to wear religious dress."
