Veteran politician Botsa Satyanarayana is running for office from the Cheepurupalli seat once more. Due to the split, Botsa lost in 2014 but triumphed here in 2004 and 2009. The announcement of Chandrababu Naidu's choice for this seat came at the eleventh hour. Initially, he attempted to transport Botsa's opponent, Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, from vizag to the vizianagaram district. 

However, Ghanta, who is renowned for winning in any circumstances and from anywhere, declined to convey a negative message. By sending Kala venkat rao as the candidate from Rajam to Cheepurupalli, chandrababu naidu exacerbated the situation. It seemed more like giving the Senior leader a place to stay without turning down a ticket. Thus, tdp cadre morale is low. However, the constitution suggests that things might not be simple for Botsa in Cheepurupalli. The anti-incumbency sentiment is evident. In the presence of Kala venkat Rao, three families that control politics in the significant Merakamoodidham Mandal just joined the TDP.
 
In this Mandal, the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress earned an 8,700 majority in 2019. Here, tdp is aiming for a 4,000 majority. Numerous congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress members have joined the tdp in other Mandals as well. Kala venkat rao can pull off an unexpected upset against Botsa Satyanarayana if he can maintain his position and perform well during the campaign.
