There have been rumours circulating over the past several months regarding filmmaker Vetri Maaran working with Thalapathy Vijay on a movie. The director gave a status report on the movie during a recent award ceremony in Chennai. Before he devotes all of his efforts to politics, Thalapathy Vijay will work on one more movie. Talks with Vijay and his crew are being held by a number of filmmakers, such as H Vinoth, karthik Subbaraj, and Vetri Maaran.
 
Currently filming "Viduthalai 2," Vetri Maaran was present at the recent JFW awards in Chennai. Vetri Maaran was questioned during the event about working with Thalapathy Vijay on a movie. The director said, "I told him a story a few days ago," in reference to him. But I don't believe it will occur at this time. I've expressed this before at other occasions. I think you ought to find out who disseminated the rumour."
 
The 68th movie that Thalapathy Vijay is currently filming, titled "GOAT," is being directed by venkat Prabhu. On september 5, the commercial film will be released in cinemas all around the world. 'GOAT' is his 68th movie, but Vijay is going to stop going to the movies after his 69th. He has not yet disclosed what he plans to do next. Several names are being considered for the movie, and it appears that H Vinoth, the director, may be the fortunate one.
