In anticipation of the May 13 general election in 2024, the telugu states are preparing for polling. telangana is only holding elections for the lok sabha, whereas ap will also be holding elections for the assembly and parliament. BRS hopes to win back support in the lok sabha elections after losing the telangana assembly elections. It is currently experiencing a setback, though, since one of its advantages in the ghmc area is disappearing.
 
In the assembly elections, BRS won 16 of the 24 seats in the ghmc area. The Andhra settlers accounted for the majority of these votes. Therefore, BRS believed that the Andha settlers' kindness would also be reflected in the Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, and Chevella lok sabha seats. But this week, the residents of these areas are relocating to andhra pradesh so they may vote where they were born. They regard the ap elections as being more significant than the lok sabha elections in Telangana.
 
Due to the conflict with the ap elections, BRS is losing their primary vote donors this time, which might be a serious loss. Therefore, it remains to be seen if BRS can overcome this setback and win those three ghmc area seats.
