The telugu states are paying close attention to the kadapa Parliament election in Andhra Pradesh. Following the CBI's reference to mp avinash Reddy's name in Vivekananda Reddy's charge sheet, this is Kadapa's first election. In the previous five years, a lot has happened in Kadapa. jagan Mohan reddy resigned as a congress mp once the YSRCP was founded, ran in the 2011 by-election, and emerged victorious. 

After winning the elections in 2014 and 2019, avinash Reddy is currently running for office a third time. PCC President sharmila reddy, the daughter of previous chief minister YS Rajasekhar reddy, is directly opposing her older brother, chief minister Jaganmohan reddy, in the current election.
 
Her opponent is avinash Reddy, who is being fielded by jagan and is the son of YS bhaskar Reddy. In a previous pulivendula by-election, Vijayalakshmi, the wife of Rajasekhar reddy, and Vivekananda reddy, his younger brother, competed against one another. On the other hand, this is the first time that members of the YS family have run against one another for the kadapa Lok Sabha constituency. 

Sharmila is now running against Jagan's party, which she supported throughout the 2019 election campaign. With the nomination of Bhupesh reddy, the son of former MLC Chadipiralla Narayana reddy, tdp has also entered the contest with honour. The tdp is hoping that the division of the YSRCP votes would go to its advantage. According to observers, tdp has a possibility of winning if sharmila and avinash split the vote.
 
Amidst these charges, sharmila and Sunita are running an anti-Avinash campaign since they are unwilling to support his candidature. sharmila claims that because avinash was granted the ticket, she decided to run for office. Sunita is running an ad in her favour. Viveka's campaign is picking up steam in kadapa, Badwelu, Maidukuru, Kamalapuram, and pulivendula because of their substantial fan base in these regions.
