Tea lovers can be found everywhere in India. Here people like to drink tea not only in winter but also in extreme heat. Wait! If you drink tea then be a little careful. The indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has issued diet related guidelines for Indians. In these guidelines, emphasis has been laid on various healthy diets along with healthy life. In the advisory, the research wing medical panel of the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) says that consumption of tea and coffee should be limited.

Be it tea or coffee, a large population of india consumes both as their favorite drinks. ICMR has clearly forbidden people to consume it before and after food. Researchers say that tea and coffee contain high amounts of caffeine, which affects the nervous system of the human body. Although researchers have not completely banned its consumption, they have still warned to be careful about the amount of caffeine.

Iron deficiency occurs

Scientists said that one cup of coffee contains 80-120 mg of caffeine and instant coffee contains 50-65 mg of caffeine. Talking about tea, it contains 30-65 mg caffeine. Scientists have forbidden the consumption of tea and coffee so that more than 300 mg of caffeine does not enter the body in a day. A person can tolerate 300 mg of caffeine in a day. Above this, it can be harmful for the body. Scientists said that a person should avoid drinking coffee and tea at least one hour before and after eating food. This is because coffee and tea contain a compound called tannin, its consumption hinders the absorption of iron in the body.
