Revanth reddy, the chief minister of telangana, gave state government officials until june 2 to assume control of structures such as the Lake view Guest House. These properties were given to the andhra pradesh (AP) government for 10 years, although hyderabad was designated as the joint capital of both states. Following Telangana's split, the ap Reorganisation Act required shared ownership.
 
After splitting from andhra pradesh in 2014, telangana will commemorate ten years of its creation on june 2 of this year. The telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC), chaired by professor M. Kodandaram, and former chief minister of telangana and leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), K chandrasekhar (KCR), spearheaded the push for independent statehood.
 
Additionally, this will be the first telangana creation anniversary without the kcr and BRS in office since 2014. Previous governments celebrated these festivities annually. The congress defeated the BRS in the telangana Assembly elections of 2023.

Revanth reddy also gave authorities instructions to provide a thorough report on the Reorganisation Act cases that have been settled by agreement between the two states thus far during a meeting on Wednesday. On May 18, the chief minister of telangana will call a cabinet meeting to talk about waiving agricultural loans.

According to a press statement from his office, revanth reddy also gave the competent officials instructions to compile a report on all outstanding matters concerning the distribution of assets and debt payments between the two states following the split of Andhra Pradesh.
