The telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Tests (EAPCET) 2024 results were declared on Saturday. Following the news, many students are searching for a list of the best engineering institutions in Hyderabad.
 
According to the newly revealed National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, the city has four engineering colleges ranked in the top 100 in the country.


IIT-H ranks first among list of top engineering colleges in Hyderabad
The indian Institute of technology (IIT) hyderabad is the city's top engineering institution, with the international Institute of Information technology (IIIT) hyderabad coming in second. The following is the list of the top engineering institutions in hyderabad that rank less than 100 among indian institutes:
Apart from the above engineering colleges, the following hyderabad institutes are in the rank band of 101-150:

1. Anurag University
2. Goka Raju Ranga Raju Institute of Engineering & Technology
3. university College of Engineering
4. Vallurupalli nageswara rao Vignana jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology

Following are the hyderabad engineering colleges in the rank band of 151-200:

1. chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology
2. Institute of Aeronautical Engineering
3. mahindra University
4. Maulana azad National urdu University


Over 1.8 Lakh students qualified for EAPCET in the engineering stream
In the engineering stream, 2,40,618 candidates took the test, and 1,80,424 (74.98 percent) qualified for admission. Of the 1,42,716 male applicants who took the exam, 1,06,162 (74.38%) qualified. A total of 97,902 female applicants took the test, with 74,262 (75.85 percent) qualifying.
 
According to an official announcement, 91,633 applicants in the agricultural and pharmacy streams took the test, with 82,163 (89.66 percent) passing.


In the agricultural and pharmacy streams, 24,664 male applicants took the test, with 21,768 (88.25 percent) qualifying. Female applicants who took and passed the exam were 66,969 and 60,395, respectively.
 
The telangana State EAPCET examination, administered by jawaharlal nehru Technological university, hyderabad (JNTUH), was held from May 7 to 11 in 21 test zones and 165 test centres across telangana (134 centres) and andhra pradesh (31 centres).
