It has been a while since star actress pooja hegde starred in a South indian film. The actress is now working on the hindi film Sanki, which stars Ahan Shetty as the protagonist. The film is slated to be released on Valentine's Day 2025. According to recent reports, pooja hegde would portray the leading heroine in an upcoming tamil film.
According to reports, pooja will play with kollywood superstar Suriya in the film, which will be helmed by karthik Subbaraj. If the rumors are accurate, this will be pooja Hegde's third tamil film following Mugamoodi and Beast. The film, tentatively named Suriya44, is set to begin production in the first week of june in the andaman Islands.  
Joju George, a malayalam actor, will play a significant part. Suriya's 2D Entertainment, in partnership with Stone Bench Films, will produce this blockbuster. Santosh Narayanan will create the music. According to the source, the team has prepared another major schedule in Ooty. Apart from this, she is also in talks to pair with siva karthikeyan for his next movie under 'Don' fame Cibi's direction. The shooting for that movie will begin in 2025.
