The constant rain that has been falling over the past few days has severely damaged Telangana. While the rest of the state suffered constant heavy rainfall, South telangana faced tremendous rains and a condition akin to flooding. people are pleading for help as lakes flood, travel between locations has been shut off, and they have lost their houses and crops.

The persistent rains severely damaged districts including Khammam, Suryapet, and Nalgonda. One major leader says nothing, despite the fact that many leaders of the opposition and ruling parties are lending assistance to individuals during these difficult times. He is K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the chief of BRS. Since BRS's defeat in the telangana assembly elections, kcr has withdrawn inside his farmhouse and stopped actively participating in politics.

He had only been to one assembly session up until now, and that had been on the day of the budget announcement. He did not participate in any additional assembly sessions or in the talks that followed over the budget. kcr embarked on a bus yatra for the parliamentary elections, having taken a lengthy hiatus after the assembly elections. His abstinence from active politics had a detrimental effect on his campaign for the Lok Sabha, which led to BRS receiving zero seats. He is still going through the same motions.

Since the parliament elections, he has not left the farmhouse, and the public has continuously condemned him for it. kcr took advantage of the recent floods to enter the public eye and provide the flood victims assistance during these trying times. On social media, some expressed their opinions that kcr ought to have visited the flood-affected districts physically, talked to the victims, and promised them financial and emotional help. They saw it as a favorable chance to retaliate against the congress administration that was in power.

KCR was criticized by congress leaders and supporters for his decision to be quiet about the matter and isolate himself to his farmhouse. people also pointed out that, in contrast to kcr, who has remained reticent to the public, even YS Jagan, who hardly leaves his tadepalli home, went out to greet and converse with the flood victims.

While ktr has been criticizing congress on social media for drawing comparisons between their rescue operations and those of Andhra Pradesh, BRS leaders harish rao and others are visiting the affected areas to provide assistance to the people. The public is aware of KCR's absence, though, and many think that if he stays at the farmhouse for the foreseeable future, it might spell the end not just for his political career but also for the political destiny of the BRS as a whole.
