Both liquor corporations and normal customers are very interested in the recently implemented "Quarter Rs. 99" regulation in Andhra Pradesh. Since its introduction by the state government, this inexpensive booze has been increasingly popular.

Consequently, some medium-sized liquor manufacturers are already investigating ways to capitalize on this increasing demand by lowering the costs of their products. Prominent liquor businesses have already started talking to the Excise Department about potential prospects in this new pricing range. About 30,000 cases have already been made and sent to licensees, and four businesses have been given permission to provide seven distinct brands at a price range of Rs. 99. By the end of the month, the Excise Department intends to make 2.4 lakh instances available.

In order to choose whether to offer their goods at this price point as well, liquor businesses are attentively observing customer behavior. While some businesses are waiting to see what happens, others are already forward with production. Traders are worried that although cheaper booze may draw larger sales volumes, the profit margins for these items are far smaller than those of more costly brands. All things considered, the launch of this inexpensive booze may change market dynamics, impacting Andhra Pradesh's liquor businesses' business plans as well as consumer behavior.
