On the filming of his next movie, Sardar 2, tamil actor karthi sustained a leg injury. When the accident occurred, the Sardar 2 crew was in mysore filming some key scenes. After being taken to a neighboring hospital, Karthi's injuries were assessed by medical professionals. Sources claim that he has been told to take a week off.
 
On the doctor's recommendation, Sardar 2's producers canceled the filming and went back to Chennai.  The shooting will start up again after karthi heals from his injuries. According to popular reports, 80% of the movie has been finished.  After receiving consent from karthi and the producers, the team will soon resume work.

The Sardar 2 crew recently filmed the movie's climax on a large set at a chennai film studio.  SJ Suryah and karthi participated in the current schedule.  Karthi and SJ Suryah will appear in a high-octane stunt sequence that was choreographed by Aavesham's stunt coordinator, Chethan Ramshi D'Souza.
 
Karthi will play two parts in Sardar 2, which is directed by PS Mithran.  The story will reportedly be set in two distinct eras.  The movie began production in the middle of 2024 and should be finished in a few weeks.
 
 In addition to karthi and Rajisha Vijayan reprising their roles, SJ Suryah, Ashika Ranganath, and malavika mohanan will play important roles in the follow-up.
 
 Yuvan Shankar Raja created the film's music, which was produced by prince Pictures.  The technical team includes stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan, editor Vijay Velukutty, and cinematographer George C. Williams.
