karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah's shocking comments, which call for "peace" rather than hold pakistan accountable for its active role behind the savage terror attack in the valley, have sparked a political storm as the country mourns the loss of 26 innocent lives in the horrific pahalgam massacre.

Siddaramaiah decided to give a lecture: "There is no need for war against pakistan, we want peace." This came at a time when the entire nation was furious and united in their desire to exact revenge for the horrific deaths of tourists in the Baisaran Valley.

CM Siddaramaiah further attributed the pahalgam massacre to "a clear lapse in security," stating that the only thing that is urgently needed is to increase security and strive toward reestablishing peace in Kashmir.

This karnataka chief minister's statement has drawn a lot of criticism amid escalating diplomatic tensions between india and Pakistan.  Furthermore, his tactful criticism of the neighbor has effectively strengthened Pakistan's propaganda apparatus, which its media frequently employs to support its claims, while the world stands with india to respond appropriately to terrorism supported by Pakistan.

According to reports, Karnataka's leader of the Opposition, R Ashoka, demanded an unreserved apology and charged that Siddaramaiah was putting vote-bank politics ahead of the interests of the country. "His attitude is shameful," he snapped.

BJP IT Cell head amit Malviya tore into Siddaramaiah, writing on X, "Congress rushes to Pakistan's rescue. karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, who owes his position to Muslim votes, is being quoted across pakistan for suggesting that we focus on security measures in kashmir instead of confronting pakistan, despite them murdering indian Hindus in cold blood." Malviya further questioned, "Why does congress always stand with terrorists?"
