Some indians are finding it almost tough to obtain a US visa, particularly Formula One applicants who are been turned down repeatedly. The United States' ruthless crackdown is the only apparent reason for the dramatic increase in F1 visa denials.  Repeatedly rejected are students with strong academic records, evidence of their financial stability, and even several I-20s.

In the fall of 2024 and again in 2025, an indian candidate to Clemson university was turned down.  Even worse, he claims they aren't given a valid explanation.  They are left feeling bewildered, irate, and powerless after a five-minute interview that finishes with a rejection slip. Many people think that the main problem might have been the student's admission that he was anxious.  Nevertheless, the only thing left to do is to try again with a better strategy, which still does not ensure a rejection at the embassy for yet another arbitrary reason.

In 2024, more over 330,000 indians were studying in the United States, the highest number of foreign students.  Given all of the deportations and visa rejections that have occurred this year, this number is probably going to drastically drop amid all of the upheaval.
