After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the tough stand of the indian government has created a ruckus in Pakistan. Due to this stand, Pakistani leaders are engaged in making provocative statements. Recently, former Pakistani cricketer shahid Afridi has also spewed venom against india and this is not the first time that he has given a controversial statement against India. In fact, it is claimed that in the year 2003, Afridi's brother was chased and shot by BSF soldiers. It is believed that this 22-year-old incident is the real reason for Afridi's hatred towards India.

Why does shahid Afridi hate India?

shahid Afridi recently accused india of supporting terrorism, but blames Pakistan. This incident is of the year 2003 when shahid Afridi's brother Shakib was chased and shot by BSF soldiers. That year, Shakib was killed by the indian Army in a clash with terrorists in Anantnag.

It was revealed that Shakib used to be the battalion commander of Harkat-ul-Ansar. His links were also with Hafiz Saeed. After killing Shakib, BSF had said on the basis of the recovered documents that Shakib is related to Pakistani cricketer shahid Afridi. It is believed that shahid has been spewing fire against india since that time.

shahid Afridi shrugged off the allegations
