After being sexually harassed by a Muslim guy named Rizwan, a 19-year-old Hindu woman sadly committed herself in Kadampur hamlet, which is located in the Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, near the Usrahar police station.
 
According to accounts, Rizwan used to send the woman offensive messages on her phone and harass her. In addition, he was pressuring her to marry him and convert to Islam. While her father and brother were employed in Delhi, the victim previously resided with her mother.

Tired of Rizwan’s threats, the victim consumed poison
According to the victim's brother, Rizwan, their neighbor, vowed to murder the victim's whole family.  She informed her father about Rizwan's threat when he and her brother arrived on april 25.  When the victim's father tried to discuss Rizwan's actions with his family, they ignored him and threatened him instead.  The victim's father complained about Rizwan and his two companions on april 26. However, the victim ingested poison that same day.  After being admitted to the Uttar Pradesh university of Medical Sciences in Saifai, she died on friday, May 2, one week later. 

The victim’s family blames police inaction
The father said in the lawsuit that Rizwan had forced the victim to meet with him and had sent her pornographic communications.  He threatened to kill her sibling if she didn't comply.  When she rode her bicycle to college, he would stop her and harass her.  According to the victim's family, her death resulted from the police's slow response to their complaint.  Her brother claimed that Rizwan threatened the family at their home after his father filed the complaint, but the police did nothing. Station house Officer Mansoor ahmed was accused by her family of siding with the accused and failing to prosecute him. 

A Case filed by the Police
According to SSP Sanjay Verma, the police have opened a case under sections 115(2), 352, and 351(3) of the BNS and section 66D of the IT Act in response to the victim's father's complaint.  Salman, his brother, and Rizwan have been taken into custody.  There is a large police presence in the area.
 
Almost ten hours after the victim's death on friday morning, her body was transported for a postmortem later that evening.  Her body was first stored in a broken deep freezer, but it was moved to a new deep freezer after her family objected.
