On monday, May 26, prime minister Narendra Modi was showered with flower petals by the family of indian Army officer Colonel Sofiya Qureshi as he was on a roadshow in vadodara, Gujarat.  When PM Modi arrived in gujarat for a two-day tour, he attended a roadshow in vadodara on monday morning. When PM Modi arrived at the vadodara airport on monday at around 10 a.m., he was greeted with great fanfare and led a roadshow for one kilometer to the air Force station. 

He was congratulated by crowds on both sides of the route for the triumph of India's 'Operation Sindoor' over Pakistan. prime minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in vadodara was attended by a number of individuals, including the family of Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and overseas students.  "It was a great moment when PM Modi came here," said Sanjay Qureshi, the brother of Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who attended the PM's roadshow.  It was the first time we saw him.  He greeted us with gestures. 

"I am grateful to our armed services and the indian government for providing my sister with this opportunity.  What could be greater than a woman exacting retribution on the women who endured so much suffering?" he said.  PM Modi is in gujarat for two days. PM Modi will inaugurate and set the groundwork for a number of state-wide development projects while he is there. The prime minister is expected to inaugurate many projects totaling Rs 82,950 crore and participate in public events in Dahod, Bhuj, and Gandhinagar.
