RCB won the championship title in the IPL 2025 season and won the trophy for the first time in 18 years. While RCB fans were celebrating this enthusiastically, this celebration went beyond the limits and turned into a huge tragedy. The RCB team management has decided to hold a victory rally among RCB fans the day after the final. However, the police initially refused permission for this. However, the RCB management posted on social media that the event will be held. This is what has now become the cause of controversy. A large number of fans gathered to watch this post and a stampede occurred, resulting in 11 deaths and 48 injuries. The karnataka government has set up a commission of inquiry consisting of a judge in connection with this incident.
In this situation, the Bangalore police have registered a case against the RCB team management, and the Bangalore police have arrested the RCB team manager Nikhil Sosale. The police also arrested sunil Mathew, an executive of the private company DNA, who had organized the event, at the airport. Similarly, two more people have been arrested in connection with this case and taken to the police for questioning. The police are also looking for some of the karnataka State cricket Association executives who decided to organize this event without obtaining proper permission. The police have said that they are now in hiding due to fear of arrest.

In addition, several police officers, including Bangalore City police Commissioner Dayananda, who failed to control the crowd, have been suspended by the state chief minister Siddaramaiah. Meanwhile, the karnataka High Court, which is conducting a suo motu investigation into the case, has ordered the karnataka state government to file a status report on the case on the tenth.
