Foreign life, particularly in countries like the US and canada, is frequently portrayed as prosperous, full of work opportunities, and offering a superior standard of living. However, for those considering a relocation abroad, a recent viral video featuring an indian woman residing in canada serves as a sobering reminder of reality. See the video below,
The woman addresses a widespread belief among many indians in the opening of the video, which was posted on instagram by user @kanutalescanada.  Her words, "Guys, hamare jo indian friends ya relatives hain jinko lagta hai ki canada mein bahut jobs aur paisa hai, unko ye video dikha dena," encourage viewers to forward the film to those who think living overseas is simple.

A queue for just a handful of jobs
Then, outside a modest employment event, she moves her camera to a long line of job seekers. According to the woman, just five or six persons would be hired for the position, which is at the level of a basic internship. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of eager candidates in line, demonstrating the tremendous response despite the small number of positions.

"This is Canada's reality. "Come to canada if you're ready for this; if not, india is better," she cautions in the video.

She captioned the video: "Life abroad isn't always a dream. Sometimes it's just… a long queue." The clip has resonated with many and has now crossed over 4 lakh views, prompting a wave of comments from both immigrants and those aspiring to move abroad.
