That is, it has been announced that from July 15, YouTube channels that do not meet its rules will be removed from the paid YouTube Partner Program. Only original videos that create new works will be paid. Only those videos will be advertised. It was stated that videos that are uploaded repeatedly, videos that create one thing like another, and low-quality videos will not be paid. In this situation, google has removed 11 thousand YouTube channels to prevent the spread of false information and propaganda. Most of these channels belong to china and russia, and more than 7,700 of them have been removed for posting videos critical of US policies.


Most of the channels removed from YouTube are in Chinese and English. They are said to have been used to promote Chinese President Xi Jinping. In addition, 2,000 YouTube channels have posted Russian-language videos. These channels have posted videos supporting russia and criticizing countries, including NATO and Ukraine. google has said that it is continuously monitoring online threats and that this action has been taken to keep the YouTube platform honest and free from any political bias. It is noteworthy that google removed 20 channels last May.

Not only china and russia, but also channels from other countries, including Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Ghana, have been removed. So far this year alone, 30,000 YouTube accounts have been removed.
