Step 1: Log In or Sign Up
1. Go to the irctc website or open the IRCTC Rail Connect app.
2. Log in with your credentials. If you’re new, create an account by providing your mobile number, email, and KYC details.
Step 2: search for Trains
1. Enter your departure and destination stations.
2. Select your travel date (during christmas 2025).
3. Click “Search Trains”.
Step 3: Check Availability & Class
1. Choose the train that fits your schedule.
2. Click on “Check Availability & Fare”.
3. Select your preferred class (Sleeper, AC 3-tier, AC 2-tier, First AC, etc.).
Step 4: Add Passenger Details
1. Enter passenger names, ages, and gender.
2. For senior citizens or differently-abled passengers, select relevant concessions.
Step 5: Make Payment
1. Choose a payment method: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallets.
2. Complete the payment process.
Step 6: Confirm Booking & Get Ticket
1. After successful payment, your e-ticket (PNR) will be generated.
2. You can download it, take a printout, or show the e-ticket on your irctc app to the ticket inspector during travel.
Tips for christmas Travel
· Book early, as trains fill up quickly during the holiday season.
· Keep an eye on tatkal quotas if last-minute booking is needed.
· Save your PNR number; it helps with checking train status and cancellations.
