Tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. Stalin has announced that a comprehensive and ambitious State Budget, featuring several new announcements, will be presented in July. He stated that the upcoming full-fledged budget will lay the foundation for major achievements and long-term development initiatives across the state.

Interim Budget Tabled in Assembly

Earlier today (February 17) at around 9:30 a.m., the tamil Nadu government presented its Interim Budget in the Legislative Assembly. The interim budget outlines essential financial allocations to ensure the smooth functioning of government departments until the detailed budget is introduced later this year.

The chief minister emphasized that while the interim budget addresses immediate financial requirements, the July budget will introduce expansive schemes and policy measures aimed at accelerating growth and strengthening welfare programs.

According to the chief minister, the upcoming budget will prioritize:
