Raghav Chadha didn’t whisper in parliament — he roared. The timing is brutal. For years, Chadha used his rajya sabha seat to expose the everyday scams grinding indians down. He hammered food safety, warning about sugar syrup in juices and adulterated staples that make every meal a health lottery. He shredded the “legalised loot” of road tax plus toll tax — pure double taxation on the same stretch of highway. Telecom companies got roasted for unfair recharge rules that vanish your data and leave you with zero rollover. Banks? He called out the shameless penalties for low balances that punish the very people trying to save.  



He pushed for joint income tax returns so couples aren’t double-taxed on the same income, demanded copyright justice for creators whose work gets stolen online, and demanded labour protections for gig workers who risk their lives for app ratings. All while in opposition, where the only weapon was words.



Now the words have to become action. He’s in the ruling party. The agencies, the ministries, the system — they’re on his side of the table. No more “raising issues.” This is the moment he can actually fix them.



So here’s the savage truth we’re all watching: was this a principled fight for ordinary people, or just smart personal branding to land a sweeter deal from the BJP? The next few months will tell everything. If these problems magically start getting solved, respect.
