Sheikh Dastgiri, the driver of his car, revealed sensational things to the police as an approver. The arrestee testified on august 30, describing the manner in which YS Viveka was killed.

Dastgiri admitted that Gangireddy had planned to assassinate Viveka as he had not agreed in the Bangalore land dispute.

Dastgiri mentioned the names of leaders in his Confession Statement. The statement was recorded in the proddatur court under Section 164 (1) of the CRPC. Dastagiri admitted that four people were involved with Viveka in the murder.

Dastgiri confessed to killing Viveka along with Erra Gangireddy, sunil Yadav and Gujjula Umashankar Reddy. It is alleged that Erra Gangireddy planned to assassinate Viveka. 

Erra Gangireddy said he was angry at Viveka for not giving him a share in land transactions in Bangalore. The Confession Statement states that Gangireddy's fraud was the reason for his defeat in the 2017 MLC elections and that he has given a wise warning that his case will be known. 

The arrestee revealed that Gangireddy had offered to give crores of rupees to kill Viveka. Supari was said to have paid Rs 40 crore for the entire murder. He said he has offered Rs 5 crore.

Dastgiri revealed that sunil Yadav and Umashankar reddy together trampled the dog to death near Viveka's house. Dastgiri claimed that he had jumped into the compound of Viveka's house along with sunil Yadav and Umashankar Reddy. 

Dastgiri said in a confessional statement that Erra Gangireddy, who was already in the house, went inside after opening the door.

The arrestee said that he was shocked to see Viveka coming to the house at this time and later Gangireddy also went behind him as Viveka went into the bedroom. It has been revealed that there was a heated argument in Viveka's bedroom over money and sunil Yadav attacked Viveka in the face with prostitutes. 

The arrestee said that sunil Yadav attacked Viveka with an axe in his hand and immediately fell under Viveka and hit sunil Yadav hard on his chest 7, 8 times.
