- 1–2 green chilies (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut
- 1 tsp tamarind paste (optional, for extra tanginess)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil (preferably sesame or vegetable oil)
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)

Instructions:
1. Blanch the greens:
Boil or steam the pulicha keerai for 2–3 minutes to reduce raw bitterness. Drain and let it cool slightly.

4. Combine:
Pour the tempering over the blended chutney and mix well.
5. Serve:
Pulicha Keerai chutney is perfect with idli, dosa, rice, or even chapati.
