Blast: Stunned by classroom suicide bombing...
Kabul, the capital of afghanistan, has been shaken by bomb blasts one after the other these days. Another blast occurred on monday in the Pul-e-Sokhta area on shahid Majri Road in western Kabul. However, there is no news of any casualty in this so far. The blast happened around 2 pm. Earlier on 30 September, 53 people were killed in the bombings. According to the United Nations (UN) report, out of 53 people killed in this blast, 46 were girls.
The United Nations Mission in afghanistan said the death toll in Friday's bombings in the Hazara area of Kabul's capital has risen to 53. 110 people were injured in this explosion.
Most of the dead women
Taliban spokesman Khalid Zadran said an explosion took place on friday morning at a centre in the Hazara area. Jadran told that many students are also included among the dead. The Islamic State group has targeted schools, hospitals and mosques several times. The name of this centre is 'Kaz Higher Educational Center', where students are prepared for the college entrance examination.
19-year-old shafi Akbari, a survivor of the attack, said around 300 students had arrived at the centre around 6.30 am and a sudden explosion occurred about an hour later. Jadran of Kabul police said the education centre in the region should seek additional security from the Taliban when organizing large events. At the same time, Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor later said that the police had arrested a suspect who is suspected to be related to the attack.
18-25-year-old girls went to take the exam
The 'Emergency NGO' hospital in Kabul posted that most of the patients it had for treatment were women aged between 18 and 25 years who were taking the test. Karen Decker, US Deputy Ambassador to afghanistan and UNICEF, condemned the attack.
