The second wave of the pandemic has just now started to ease in the country and the states have started to give relaxation and lockdowns have been lifted in many states. With the number of cases falling and the rate of vaccination has been increased we are on the verge of curbing the virus. But the recent reports have again struck panic among people.

According to the report from the Taskforce of Mumbai, the third wave of the corona is not so far as it may unleash its wrath in the coming 2-3 weeks. Moreover, there were concerns raising as the third wave may affect the children. But the officials confirmed that aggressive vaccination of the adults will protect the children from the deadly virus and a least 10% of the children may get affected by the virus.

The task force has suggested rapid and aggressive vaccination in order to lower the severity of the coronavirus as per the reports the active cases may get doubled than that of the second wave and may reach up to 8 lakh cases. During the first wave a total of 19 lakh cases were reported and it has towered with 40 lakh cases in the second wave. As of wednesday India reported a total of 1.4 lakh cases.
