Digitization of land records by 2023??


Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has promoted digitization in the budget of 2022. Land records have also been included under digitization. Just as citizens would have a unique number ie aadhar card, in the same way, now a unique registered number of land or farm will also be issued. This number can be 14 digits.


Use of IP technology:

For this, the central government will also create a portal. Through this, any person will be able to extract its information by entering the Unique Registration Number of his land on this portal. In this, with the help of land papers, their records will be kept digitally safe and a mark has been set to digitize land documents across the nation by march 2023.


The government will measure the land with the help of drones through the One Nation, One Registration program. There will be no possibility of any mistake or disturbance from the ground measurement by the drone. At present, 140 million hectares of land are being cultivated in the country. This will also bring transparency in buying and selling of land.
