Last week, 'The Kashmiri Files' movie which is directed by vivek Agnihotri was released on march 11th, 2022, and received an unexpected response after Modi appreciated the film. This film is based on the massacre of Kashmiri Pandit. The gujarat government has also announced tax exemption in the state for this movie. This was then followed by Haryana, Karnataka, and madhya pradesh governments.
But the main debate happening now on social media is why such reception was not given to the films Parzania and Firaaq. Parzania was based on a true story of a Parsi couple who attempts to search for their son who went missing in the gujarat Riots. Firaaq is based on people who are the victims of the chaos and how it changed their lives forever.
