Generally, it is not possible to increase the number of employable population by more than 2 lakh in any one month. In such a situation, such a large number of jobs in a month is possible only when many people have either been fired from the job or themselves have left the job and joined back in April.
In the month of April, maximum employment has increased in the industry and service sector. According to the CMIE report, the industry has given 55 lakh jobs in April. Out of this, 30 lakh jobs have increased in manufacturing and 4 lakh jobs have increased in the construction sector. Here about 67 lakh jobs have increased in the service sector. At the same time, there has been a decline of about 52 lakhs in employment in the agriculture sector in the month of April.
