The young man had symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, including memory loss and hippocampus shrinkage, which are considered precursors to Alzheimer's disease. Due to ill health, he had to leave high school early. The researchers' study was published on january 31, 2023, in the journal Alzheimer's Disease.
