Coronavirus seems to be pacing up once again in India...

Prime minister Narendra Modi today held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states, this meeting has taken place at a time when 2927 cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours. Out of these, 1203 cases i.e. almost half are from Delhi.

It is a matter of relief that the total number of deaths in india is not very high. This time there are only a few serious cases of the corona. While 32 deaths have been registered in india in the last 24 hours, looking at this data in detail shows that 22 out of 32 deaths are from the state of Kerala. These are the deaths that were not updated. 26 out of 32 deaths are due to updating old data.

With the sudden removal of all the restrictions related to Corona in delhi and the simultaneous opening of schools, Covid is seeing an increase in cases. After the increasing cases, the delhi government has again made the mask mandatory and a fine of Rs 500 can also be imposed for not applying the mask.

In india, only the Omicron variant of the corona is found in 95 percent of the cases. Apart from this, more than 8 variants have been found so far. There is also a possibility of spreading more variants of Omicron.

Today, the PM emphasized genome sequencing in the discussion so that new variants can be detected in time. In the polluted cities of delhi NCR, the mask also protects against dust and smoke, so in the opinion of experts, masks should be considered a part of life.
