King Akbar and Birbal were viewing Yomuna river from the palace. It was monsoon season and the river was the turbulennt. The gushing river water was making Sonds gave the impression as if the river was crying.
Suddenly King Akbar asked Birbal,"Why is the river crying?" "your Majesty when a girl leaves her father's house after marriage she cries,in the same way river Yamuna is Separated from its father,the mountaun, and is making way to her husband,the sea. its father,the beacuse she is leaving behind the father mountain,"replied Birbal.
Akbar smiled on hearing this answer.
