There have been reports that Dhanush's recent blockbuster film Karnan is likely to be soon remade in Telugu. But the producers have not confirmed the development. But we have reliably learned that the talks are going on.

He wants to remake it with his son, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. However, there is a negative response to this news as people feel Bellamkonda junior will not be able to do justice for the role.

On the other side, Dhanush's another classic, asuran is remade in telugu as narappa with victory venkatesh in the lead role. The movie was supposed to release on May 14th but has been postponed due to the COVID Second Wave. There are rumors that the movie may land directly on some OTT platform but the makers have confirmed that it will release only on theaters. That means Daggubati fans will have to wait for a while.

In Karnan, dhanush plays a fearless village youth, must fight for the rights of the conservative people of his village, due to the torture given by a police officer. The movie is directed by Mari Selvaraj. dhanush had already announced doing one more film with the director.
