The film's release date of september 28, 2023, was revealed by the production company Hombale Films in a new poster that was unveiled on august 15—the 76th Independence Day.

Hombale Films posted the new poster to social media along with the news, "'Rebel'ing Worldwide on september 28, 2023," alluding to Prabhas' 2012 action movie Rebel. However, few netizens feel that Neel will fail miserably as even the posters resemble kgf smell and there's nothing new or fresh in Salaar this time.
