'Adipurush' has been embroiled in controversies...
Since the teaser was released, the movie "Adipurush," starring South Superstar prabhas, Saif ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, has been the subject of controversy. The Ramayana serves as the inspiration for the storyline of the Om Raut-directed film, and prabhas will portray the Lord Ram-like "Raghav" role. Since the release of the Adipurush teaser, there has been a great deal of debate on the visual effects of the film and Saif ali Khan's participation in it. As a result, the creators made an official statement in an effort to defuse the issue.
The movie's release date was also postponed in this episode. After all of this, this movie is once again at the centre of a dispute, to which the allahabad High court has also requested a response from the Censor Board.

According to this petition, the producers of "Adipurush" distributed the promo without obtaining the censor board's approval. In addition, complaints were made over the clothing Kriti Sanon, the actress portraying Goddess Sita, wore.
In light of this, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), often known as the Censor Board, has been given notice by the lucknow bench of the allahabad High court to file a response to the plea. The bench set the following hearing date for february 21. The petition further claims that, despite the audience's strong faith in Lord ram and Goddess Sita, their portrayal in the movie went against the people's beliefs.
When Chiranjeevi's movie Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishnan's movie Veera simha Reddy were scheduled for release on january 12, 2023, so the creators of "Adipurush" chose to delay the release of their picture. Om Raut's team has not yet made any public declarations about the new release date.
