With the coming-of-age action-drama film Sir, directed by venky Atluri, and distributed by sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, tamil actor dhanush makes his telugu debut. The film, which created a tonne of attention once the trailer dropped, is scheduled to hit theatres on february 17th. The group decides to use a riskier tactic. Along with tamil, Sir will have telugu premieres.

The tamil premiere will also be conducted today for the media in Chennai, along with the telugu premiere, which will start at 7 PM at Prasads Multiplex. Recently, because of their concern for the potential consequences, directors have stopped taking the risk of viewing premiere episodes. It appears like the filmmakers are happy with the direction the film is taking. In actuality, more people were intrigued by the trailer.

In an interview, Atluri begins by describing how the concept for his film "Vaathi," which is based on the issue of exploitative private schools, came to him. "While the pandemic was going on, I chance to watch a report about how private schools all over the nation took advantage of parents and students by charging transportation fees while offering online instruction. I tried to find the source of the exploitation after realising that the privatisation of schools began in the 1990s. And I did a lot of study and wrote this script about the indian educational system," he claims.
