Maha Shivratri, a holiday honouring lord shiva, will be celebrated today, february 18, by people all around the country. samantha Ruth Prabhu, known for her faith in the luckiness of the day, makes a yearly pilgrimage to coimbatore to celebrate with her professional acquaintances. samantha had shared a couple pictures of herself posing in front of a large lord shiva monument with lakshmi Manchu, fashion designer and BFF shilpa Reddy, and rakul preet singh on the festival of maha shivratri in 2021.


A Video of Sadhguru pinching samantha went viral and there have been lots of bhakts defending Sadhguru's act as well. A video of Sadhuguru outlining the significance of the auspicious day was also provided by the user. On social media, samantha prayed for her followers and sent them warm wishes on the holy day. When we think back to Samantha's maha shivratri festivities, we see that she is wearing a green suit and a brocade pink dupatta. 

Rakul Preet, the Yashoda actress, and others even danced and sang with the thousands of lord shiva followers there. The issue of pinching in public made a lot of noise on social media as well.
