Recently, raj and DK discussed Samantha's participation in Citadel in an interview with Film Companion. The filmmaker said, "Shooting has begun with samantha and varun (Dhawan). It's a role that the author supports very strongly. The goal is to challenge samantha more and use her skills to expand the range of her acting."

Apparently, the actress is doing high-octane action sequences in the movie alongside varun Dhawan, according to reliable reports. Also, the actress has been posting pictures from the set. On february 20 of last month, she gave fans a sneak peek into her preparation for fast-paced action scenes alongside stunt performer and action director Yannick Ben. She later tweeted a picture of her injured hands a few days ago after acting in an action scene for the movie.
