When he created his maiden movie, "Kotha Bangaru Lokam," the film industry said he had elements of both sekhar kammula and krishna Vamsi's commercial sensibility. Many praised him for his modest attempt when he later created "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu," a multi-starrer in its own right. But when "Brahmotsavam" was produced, all of that excitement was reduced to ashes.

Mahesh Babu's brahmotsavam, one of Tollywood's most heavily parodied films, nearly put an end to director Srikanth Addala's career. The filmmaker had been out of work for years due to the film's brusque shock and its substance when suresh Babu proposed to remake Dhanush's asuran as "Narappa" with venkatesh playing the lead. Many people are still unsure about Addala's ability to recover, despite the fact that the movie gained some notoriety on OTT, and the other day he shocked everyone with a poster.

According to the hand poster that was recently issued, Addala has switched from producing Godavari-centric family flicks to an action films with lots of bloodshed. Since the brahmotsavam bombshell is still fresh in people's minds, many are initially wondering which hero might have given him the dates stated.  Anyway, there have been many instances where filmmakers have reinvented themselves by choosing material that is outside of their comfort zone, so it would be interesting to see if Addala is able to work her magic again.
