Notable releases of this week, Nara Rohit's Savitri and Manchu Manoj's Attack failed to make an impression on audience. The movies are already struggling at the box office. This gives an edge to Nagarjuna and Karthi's Oopiri and makes it the first choice film of the audience even in its second week. On the other side, the Bollywood remake of Oopiri is on cards.

Noted Bollywood Film maker, Karan Johar is planning the remake. He recently purchased the remake rights of Oopiri. In fact, Karan Johar has the remake rights of the French Film, The Untouchables. He planned the film in the direction of Mohit Suri but that did not happen for the reasons best known to them.

Karan is however very impressed with Oopiri and purchased the remake rights of the adapted version. He is planning to cast Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra in the roles of Nagarjuna and Karthi. There are good chances that Vamshi Paidipalli may get to direct the Hindi version as well. In fact, a genre like this will work more in Bollywood. This is because the Multiplex audience are more in Bollywood than in Telugu or Tamil.
