As per report from Mollywood sources it was stated that 'The Great Father' the Mammootty featuring family thriller has been receiving positive reviews from both the audiences and critics. Currently, the Great Father has set a new box office record, within the first 4 days (first weekend) of its release.
Recently Mammootty officially announced the latest achievement of his movie, through his official Facebook page. The megastar had also thanked the audiences for making the movie a big success, through his post.
The movie has broken has made about 15.19 Crores
from the Kerala box office alone, within the first weekend. The movie thus
broke the records set by Rajinikanth's Kabali and Mohanlal's Pulimurugan.
The trade experts had suggested that The Great Father will emerge as the first Mammootty movie, to enter the prestigious 50-Crore club of Malayalam movie industry. The Haneef Adeni-directed movie is also expected to become the highest grosser in lead actor Mammootty's career.
